Ladjevardian Campaign Statement on Crenshaw’s RNC Speech
HOUSTON, Texas -- In response to Congressman Dan Crenshaw’s remarks at the RNC, Sima for Texas spokesman Dan Gottlieb issued the following statement:
“Tonight we saw the same old Dan Crenshaw con job that we’ve come to expect, with plenty of noticeable omissions. The Dan Crenshaw on TV delivers lines about honoring heroes, while behind closed doors the real Dan Crenshaw trashes a Purple Heart recipient who lost both her legs, saying she believes in the ‘destruction of America.’ The real Dan Crenshaw received a letter from a bipartisan group of 100+ Houston doctors who pleaded with him to stop spreading dangerous disinformation about the pandemic. The real Dan Crenshaw referred to the USPS slowdown as a ‘conspiracy theory.’ while veterans are still waiting for life-saving medicines in the mail.
If it’s not clear by now, let’s make it plain: Congressman Crenshaw will do and say anything to advance his special interest-funded agenda, and this community has had enough of his shameless political games.”
